The sale of Edimilson Fernandes to Mainz for £8m followed by the sale of Lucas Perez to Alaves for £2.2m has added another £10.8m to the £30m summer transfer kitty.
The additions of goalkeepers Roberto and David Martin on free transfers on combined wages less than Adrian have also helped conserve transfer funds and reduce the wage bill.
With £40.8m now at his disposal Pellegrini is now likely to offload Reece Oxford to Augsburg for £3.6m and Javier Hernandez to Valencia for £8m next potentially bringing his transfer kitty to £52.4m
Pedro Obiang and Jordan Hugill could raise another £15m if their valuations are met taking the transfer fund still further to £67.4m.
The loss of Adrian, Andy Carroll and Samir Nasri is thought to have removed £205,000 per week from the wage bill. Fernandez and Perez removed another £95,000 per week meaning that £300,000 or £15.6m per year has been slashed off the wage bill with the two new goalkeepers only adding £30,000 per week combined.

You could never see where he fitted in in a long term starting role
He actually played better at the end of the season but bit of a square peg in a round hole like Hernandez.
We seem to be quietly easing out a few that have no future. Disappointing that we seem to need to do that in bulk every couple of years.

I didnt mind him. Chipped in with goals. But big wages i guess, i like how we are clearing what Pellers sees as deadwood.
I trust Pellegrini to conduct good business now he has settled in.

I've seen mention of £4m as a fee which is a bit like giving him away. We never seem to get decent fees when selling.

He is worth more but we would effectively have had to subsidise his wages by selling him at a discount.
No way are they paying him the same wages as us

Couldn't stand the cunt.
The way he was having a great laugh with his arsenal mates after they beat us infuriated me. I know players dont give a shit these days, but at least pretend.
Another time he was adjusting his fucking hair in the middle of an attack.
To top it all off he was shit

The way he pointed to his name on the back of his shirt after he scored really annoyed me for some reason.
Not really bothered about him moving on, but his goal ratio for us is surprisingly decent.

You say that Boycie, but he clearly had a knack for getting the ball in the net. He was a really poor player, but I'm not sure a yoot would have scored the number of goals he did.
